Background:
Mill Brook Industries is an established chair distributor located in Georgia. They sought out Cardinal Web Solutions because their old SEO firm was engaging in black-hat SEO tactics. More specifically, this firm was purchasing back-links located on link farms. Mill Brook wanted to switch to a reliable SEO firm that could build upon its organic rankings.
Challenge:
Mill Brook Industries has engaged in a national SEO battle for competitive terms such as "Church Chairs" and "Banquet Chairs". Immediate issues with the current site was that it was built out in PHP and lacked general textual content. CWS has built in relevant and keyword rich content to all category pages and edited all META data issues.
A further issue was the absence of quality inbound links as the previous SEO firm had purchased all of Mill Brook's links and therefore these links contained little relevancy and were likely to get Mill Brook's site blacklisted by the search engines.
SEO concerns:
- Absence of quality links from reputable sources
- Lack of keyword density throughout pages due to PHP programming
- Analytics had been installed but the reports being analyzed were not pertinent to site success.
Strategy:
Our first task was to begin optimizing their site page by page with the keywords identified through our Traffic Tracker report and competitive analysis. CWS is syndicating and releasing press releases for MBI every 4 weeks in order to garner more relevant link opportunities. MBI now has top rankings for very competitive terms.
